ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has issued the official list of verified Umrah tour operators for 2025–26 (1447 AH), approving 53 companies in the first phase to protect pilgrims from scams and financial fraud.
According to the ministry, the attested operators are based in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and other major cities. Each company was screened under strict government standards to ensure pilgrims receive safe and reliable services.
Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt urged citizens to book only through the verified operators, adding that the list will remain valid for one year. He also encouraged other companies to complete their documentation for future inclusion.
Meanwhile, the ministry announced that over 114,500 applications have already been submitted under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026. With only 3,500 seats left, banks have been instructed to continue accepting forms until the quota is filled. Pilgrims have been advised to apply quickly as the process will close once all seats are taken.
