Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has said that the registration process of healthcare devices has been digitalized, and now it will be completed within just 20 days, while 500 cases have already been resolved.

‎He expressed these views at the 8th Annual General Program of the Healthcare Device Association (HDAP) held in Karachi.

‎Mustafa Kamal said that Pakistan is a strange country, and he is astonished by the miracles of nature. Different dynamics exist within the same country.

‎He stated that healthcare services are being provided free of cost according to international standards, and despite the country’s conditions and challenges, the Pakistan Armed Forces have shown excellent performance in every difficult time.

‎Comparing the performance of Motorway Police and traditional police stations, he said that two institutions in the same country are being run in completely different ways.

‎The Federal Minister said that the registration process of medical devices has been accelerated. Previously, registration would take months, but now it is completed in just 20 days, and the entire system has been digitalized, making merit based decisions possible. He further shared that 500 cases have been resolved so far, assuring that all issues will be resolved soon.

‎He said that investment should be made in areas that bring pride to Pakistan. “We have to be number one in every field, and the environment and potential exist. We will support such individuals so that Pakistan can progress.”

‎The Health Minister further said that by manufacturing local ventilators, the country has made significant progress. He added that “we need to make you as effective as the Highway Police, and it is our responsibility to provide support and facilitation.”
