Gunmen Open Fire in Pakpattan, One Killed and Five Injured

PAKPATTAN – Armed men stormed a house in Arifabad, Pakpattan, and opened indiscriminate fire, Dunya News reported.

According to police, the attack left one man, Ghulam Murtaza, dead and five others critically injured. Police officials, along with heavy contingents, reached the crime scene soon after the incident. The deceased and injured were shifted to a hospital.

Rescue officials identified the injured as Wasif Ali, Muhammad Sharif, Muhammad Ahmed, Ghulam Rasool, and Ghulam Mustafa.

Police confirmed that after completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family. Teams have been formed to conduct raids and arrest the attackers.
