RAWALPINDI – Police conducted search operations in various areas of the city on Monday to maintain law and order, according to a police spokesperson.
Teams from local police, elite force, ladies police, and other law enforcement agencies took part in the operation.
During the activity, officers searched 35 houses, checked 54 shops, and questioned more than 150 individuals.
The operations were carried out in the jurisdictions of Rawat, Chontra, Kallar Syedan, Jatli, and Ganjmandi police stations.
Divisional Superintendents of Police (SPs) stated that the purpose of these operations was to trace and arrest criminal elements. They added that the search efforts would continue under the National Action Plan.
