LAHORE – Law enforcement agencies carried out coordinated raids on several offices and storage sites linked to Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), seizing millions of rupees in cash, gold, and valuable items.
According to official sources, authorities confiscated a total of 1,922.5 grams of gold, including 445 grams of bangles and bracelets, 490 grams of necklaces, chains, and lockets, and 355 grams of rings and other ornaments. In addition, 898 grams of silver were also recovered.
During the operation, officers also seized 69 branded wristwatches and 72 assorted luxury items weighing 355 grams. The recovered foreign currency included €2,885, £4,250, SAR 8,592, INR 5,000, 200 Canadian dollars, AED 1,440, 84 Malaysian ringgit, 1 US dollar, 2,500 Hong Kong dollars, and 250 Iraqi dinars.
The total estimated value of the seized assets amounts to over PKR 71.7 million, officials said. Investigations are underway to trace the origin and purpose of the recovered assets.
