During the anti polio campaign in the provincial capital, more than 2.277 million children were administered polio drops surpassing the set target of 2.23 million children.

‎According to the Health Department, during the “catch up days” aimed at covering missed children, an additional 126,000 plus children were vaccinated against polio.

‎Observers from the World Health Organization (WHO) praised the performance of the district administration, noting significant improvement in the coverage of “not attended” children.

‎The WHO representative stated that the recent polio campaign in Lahore was overall commendable, and the efforts of field teams, monitoring staff, and the cooperation of parents played a key role in achieving the target.
