MUMBAI: The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) has officially welcomed actress Aneet Padda as the lead of its next film, Shakti Shalini, creating a wave of excitement among fans and film lovers.

The revelation was made during the post-credits scene of the recently released film Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. A message appeared on screen that read:
“The protector. The destroyer. The mother of all. Aneet Padda in Shakti Shalini. Shakti unleashed Dec 24, 2026.”
This confirmed Aneet Padda as the new face and superheroine of the MHCU.

After the announcement, Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram to welcome her, writing:

He said, “While writing the script, we knew we needed a young actor. After watching her in Saiyaara, we felt she perfectly fit the role. She loved the story and joined immediately.”

Aneet Padda made her Bollywood debut earlier this year with Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara, alongside Ahaan Panday. With Shakti Shalini, she is now set to become the new superheroine of the MHCU.
