BU DHABI: The world’s largest and most influential energy exhibition, ADIPEC 2025, concluded successfully in Abu Dhabi, marking a major milestone in the global shift toward AI-driven, smart, and sustainable energy systems.

Held from November 3 to 6, the annual event attracted more than 239,000 participants, including top energy leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across the world. Over USD 46 billion worth of deals were signed during the four-day exhibition, reaffirming ADIPEC’s role as a cornerstone of global energy cooperation and innovation.

This year’s theme — “The Global Shift Toward Smart, Sustainable Systems” — emphasized Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the defining force transforming the global energy landscape. From optimizing fuel efficiency to enhancing predictive maintenance and supporting decarbonization goals, AI was showcased as the backbone of future energy ecosystems.

Spanning 17 exhibition halls and featuring 2,250 exhibitors and 30 national pavilions, ADIPEC 2025 provided an expansive view of the evolving energy industry. Specialized zones on AI, digitalization, decarbonization, marine, and logistics demonstrated how data intelligence and automation are shaping a smarter, cleaner, and more connected energy world.

A symbolic highlight was the visible integration of AI across discussions, partnerships, and research, marking the dawn of a new era of digital intelligence in the energy domain. Leading national and international companies, along with major global media houses, showcased live coverage and dedicated exhibits reflecting ADIPEC’s worldwide impact.

During his visit, Waqar Khan toured the Pakistan Pavilion, commending its vibrant representation of the country’s public and private energy sectors. He met Mr. Shehryar Umar, CEO of the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan, and Mr. Danish, General Manager of the Institute, to discuss emerging research, collaborations, and energy innovations.

“Interacting with next-generation robots and AI-driven technologies at international stalls made it clear that the future of energy is intertwined with digital transformation and intelligent automation,” said Khan.

With record-breaking participation and a strong focus on sustainability, ADIPEC 2025 has set a new benchmark for energy innovation — paving the way for an even more dynamic ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
