Sindh: Dengue Out Of Control, 109 More Patients Admitted In One Day

The Director General Health Sindh has released the daily report regarding the dengue situation.

‎According to the report, 77 new dengue patients were admitted to government hospitals across Sindh, while 54 more patients are under treatment in private hospitals, bringing the total number of admitted dengue patients in the province to 109.

‎Similarly, 32 dengue patients were reported in government hospitals of Karachi Division, 28 new patients were admitted in Hyderabad, and 67 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

‎On the other hand, the report stated that 59 patients recovered in private hospitals. One death due to dengue has been reported in Sindh. In addition, 4,101 people underwent dengue tests in government and private laboratories, out of which 449 tested positive.

‎The Director General Health Sindh further said that among the positive cases, Karachi laboratories reported the highest number of 215 cases, while 234 cases were confirmed in Hyderabad laboratories.
