A tragic incident occurred in the Upper Gizri area of Clifton, Karachi, where a man allegedly killed his wife and 12-year-old daughter during a domestic dispute. According to initial reports, the suspect attacked both victims with a sharp-edged weapon inside their home near Noorani Mosque in Baloch Para.
Police said the woman died on the spot, while the injured child was being transported to the hospital when she succumbed to her wounds.
Clifton SHO Imran Saad stated that police reached the scene immediately after receiving the report and arrested the suspect, identified as Samiullah, recovering the murder weapon from his possession.
The deceased woman has been identified as 45-year-old Kulsoom, while the 12-year-old girl has been identified as Maryam. Police have shifted the accused to the station for further investigation, where he reportedly confessed to the double murder during preliminary questioning.
