Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology has issued a warning about moderate to heavy rainfall in the Makkah region. The rain may cause dangerous flash floods between Monday and Wednesday.
Areas expected to be affected include Jeddah, Makkah, Rabigh, Khulais, and nearby regions. Thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds are also expected.
Saudi Civil Defence has urged residents to stay indoors and avoid flood-prone areas. People have been advised to follow official safety instructions to prevent accidents.
Authorities are continuously monitoring the situation and have asked the public to remain alert during this weather period.
