Changa Manga : Changa Manga Police on Thursday recovered two minor sisters who were allegedly kidnapped from Lahore and arrested two suspects in connection with the case.
According to police officials, the recovery was made during a routine patrol in the early hours of Thursday. At around 4:00 AM, police personnel noticed two young girls accompanied by two boys walking along a road in the Changa Manga area and stopped them for questioning.
The girls were identified as Urooj Fatima, aged approximately 16–17 years, and her younger sister Manisa Shahzadi, aged around 12–13 years, both residents of Bakkar Mandi, Lahore.
The boys were identified as Ali Shan, also a resident of Bakkar Mandi, and his friend Ghulam Farid, a resident of Sherakot, Lahore.
Police stated that Ali Shan, who lives in the same neighborhood as Urooj Fatima, along with his associate, allegedly took the sisters after school hours and brought them to Changa Manga.
Earlier, a kidnapping case had been registered against unidentified suspects at Nawan Kot Police Station on the complaint of the girls’ father.
Changa Manga SHO Mohsin Sindhu took the girls into protective custody, while the two accused were arrested and later handed over to Nawan Kot Police Station for further legal proceedings.
The parents were informed, and the sisters were subsequently reunited with their family.
