Two more girls have been diagnosed with HIV following alleged negligence at Walika Hospital in Karachi.
According to the father of one of the girls, his daughter had been receiving treatment at the hospital for a chest infection. Due to her continuously deteriorating health, medical tests were conducted, which confirmed that she had HIV.
He further stated that HIV has also been confirmed in a three year old girl from Metroville.
The father said that his daughter had also received treatment at Walika Hospital. When her condition worsened and she was tested, the result came back positive for HIV.
