Hot and Dry Weather to Persist Across Most Parts of Pakistan, Says Met Office

ISLAMABAD –

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast mainly hot and dry weather conditions for most regions of the country on Monday, with extremely hot temperatures expected in plain areas.

According to the morning temperature recordings:

Islamabad and Quetta registered 23°C, Lahore recorded 34°C, Karachi stood at 29°C, Peshawar at 27°C, Gilgit at 17°C, Murree at 19°C, and Muzaffarabad recorded 21°C.

In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), similar conditions are expected. The forecast indicates hot and dry weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Leh will experience dry but cooler weather.

Morning temperatures in IIOJK were as follows:

Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at 17°C, Jammu at 26°C, Leh at 7°C, and Pulwama and Baramula at 16°C.
