Karachi is likely to experience light drizzle in some areas during the morning and night hours today.

According to the Meteorological Department, the city skies remain mostly cloudy and similar weather is expected over the next few days. However, there is no forecast for heavy rainfall during this period.

The Met Office has specifically mentioned that light rain is expected in different parts of Karachi tonight.

Officials added that there are no chances of heavy showers in the city at least until July 15.

The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to hover between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level in the air is currently at 82 percent.

The Meteorological Department further stated that sea breeze is blowing at a speed of around 10 kilometers per hour, providing some relief from the heat.

The minimum temperature recorded in the city over the past 24 hours was 28 degrees Celsius.
