The threat of monkeypox has become more serious in Lahore.
According to sources, two new cases of monkeypox have been confirmed. At Mayo Hospital, a 28 year old Sajid and a 35 year old Rubina have been diagnosed with monkeypox.
It is worth noting that 16 monkeypox cases have been reported in Lahore over the past two months, while effective measures to prevent the spread of the virus could not be implemented.
Appropriate quarantine facilities for monkeypox patients have also not been established in government hospitals.
