KARACHI — A tragic accident occurred in the Manghopir area where a 14-year-old boy lost his life after being struck on the head by an iron rim while changing a tire at a puncture shop.
According to police, the incident took place within the limits of the Manghopir Police Station near Bhashani Bakery, Khairabad, Orangi Town. The boy was helping at a puncture shop when the rim of a tractor’s water tank tire suddenly came loose and hit his head, causing fatal injuries.
The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities, while police have initiated an inquiry into the incident.
