Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has said that Pakistan will overtake Indonesia to become the sixth largest country in the world in five years.
According to details, Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, while addressing the convocation of a private university, said that Pakistan will surpass Indonesia in terms of population within five years. He said that around 6.2 million children are born every year in the country.
He stated that the world has become a global village and that education and good character are needed in line with this reality. He added that a person with good character can transform the entire society.
Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal expressed concern, saying that he has to appoint people in his ministry but does not find individuals with good character. He said that when no one with good character is available, they are forced to choose the person with the least wrongdoing.
Mustafa Kamal further said that education is the fundamental means of proving oneself. He added that the government has failed to provide quality educational facilities, which is why the private sector has filled the gap.
It is worth noting that Pakistan’s rapidly growing population has become a kind of national crisis. An annual increase of more than 6.1 million people is alarming, and Pakistan has already become one of the most populous countries in the world.
In five years, Pakistan will surpass Indonesia in terms of population, and the country is likely to soon become the fourth or fifth most populous nation in the world. Pakistan has the highest birth rate in South Asia.
