Lahore: A disturbing case of alleged child abuse surfaced in Lahore’s Ghaziabad area, where a nine-year-old domestic worker was reportedly subjected to violence by her employer.
According to police, the minor girl, identified as Muqaddas, had been working at the residence of a woman named Naheed in the Taj Bagh area. A day earlier, Muqaddas had taken leave from work, prompting Naheed to visit her home, where she allegedly assaulted the child.
During the incident, the girl started bleeding from her mouth. Following the assault, the accused Naheed and her husband, Sohail, fled the scene.
Residents of the area immediately informed the police. The Ghaziabad police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother, Samina, and launched an investigation into the matter.
