The tremors were strongly felt in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Major affected cities included Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Haripur, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Mingora (Swat), Hazara Division, Hatian Bala, Jhelum Valley, and Chinari.

Residents in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Ghizer district and neighbouring Afghanistan and Tajikistan also reported tremors. In Islamabad, the quake coincided with heavy rainfall, intensifying public anxiety.
