Karachi (Press Release) – In compliance with the directives of Inspector General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service, Syed Raza Hussain Shah, a total of 47 junior officers and staff members have been promoted to the next grade. These long-pending promotions were carried out strictly on the basis of merit and transparency, in line with the vision of the Sindh Minister for Prisons and departmental policy.
The promoted personnel include Assistant Superintendents, Head Warders, and Warders from various grades. The initiative aims to enhance departmental performance, boost staff morale, and improve the quality of professional services.
Speaking on the occasion, the IG Sindh Prisons emphasized that timely and merit-based promotions are the right of every employee, as they not only improve institutional efficiency but also strengthen the principles of discipline and fairness.
Furthermore, the department continues to implement measures for improved information systems, welfare initiatives, and higher standards in both correctional and rehabilitative services.
