Karachi,

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said that the rain-producing system which had been affecting Karachi has now moved away from the city. However, its residual impact continues, keeping the atmosphere humid with intermittent cloud activity expected to persist until evening.

Following the recent spell of rainfall, the weather in the metropolis has turned pleasant. Cool breezes, moderate temperatures, and partly cloudy skies have brought a sense of relief to residents.

According to PMD data, the current temperature in Karachi was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius on Wednesday morning, while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 29 degrees Celsius during the day.

The department further forecast that light showers may occur in parts of the city later in the evening.
