Pakistan and Punjab have officially launched their historic and first ever advanced “Coablation” cancer treatment.

‎According to details, under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, modern machinery imported from China has begun treating cancer patients successfully. This is one of the most advanced and safest treatment methods developed by Chinese experts, and its formal launch has now taken place in Punjab.

‎Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is inaugurating Punjab’s first state of the art cancer treatment machine, “Coablation,” at Mayo Hospital. The first “Coablation” Center in Punjab has been established at Mayo Hospital, where doctors and staff have already completed their training.

‎The team of doctors at Mayo Hospital Lahore has successfully performed operations on two patients with lung and breast cancer using this advanced treatment. Tumors blocking the arteries supplying blood to the liver and breast cancer have been treated effectively through electric heat.

‎In the advanced “Coablation” treatment, the affected tissues are burned using heat generated by electricity. Compared to traditional surgery, this modern method causes less pain to the patient and speeds up recovery.

‎Doctors at Mayo Hospital have termed this new treatment and advanced machinery a major breakthrough in cancer care.
