Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza.
In a social media post, he stressed that political stability and economic development in the region are impossible without lasting peace between the Palestinian people and Israel.
Sharif further expressed confidence that President Trump is fully committed to supporting this crucial and urgent reconciliation, while also appreciating Trump’s leadership and the role of Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in efforts to end the war.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the implementation of the two-state solution is essential for ensuring lasting peace in the Middle East.
