Karachi braces for hot, humid day with possible evening thunderstorms
Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid today, with maximum temperatures likely to reach between 37°C and 39°C. However, the “feels-like” temperature across different parts of the city could soar as high as 40°C to 44°C.
According to weather analysts, sea breeze is expected to remain cut off, leaving the city under dusty skies and intensified heat.
Later in the day, under the influence of a post-monsoon depression, parts of Karachi may experience rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds. The most favorable period for thunderstorm activity is between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM, when thunder cells are likely to develop.
Meteorologists have advised residents to stay cautious during peak afternoon hours and remain prepared for sudden weather changes.
