PESHAWAR – In a shocking incident in the provincial capital, a man shot dead his wife and two minor daughters before committing suicide. According to initial police reports, the tragedy occurred in the Muslim City area under the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station, where the suspect, identified as Fazal Haider, son of Sher Ghani, opened fire on his wife and daughters — identified as Meherha and Mintha — before turning the weapon on himself.
Police reached the scene immediately after receiving the report, shifting the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem examination. Evidence has been collected from the crime scene, and an investigation has been launched. A case has been registered on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Sher Akram, while police are conducting a thorough probe to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident.
