Lahore once again topped the list of the world’s most polluted cities as its Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 274, placing it in the “very unhealthy” category. Thick smog blanketed large parts of the city, making breathing difficult for residents and disrupting daily life. Environmental experts have urged authorities to take immediate measures to curb emissions from factories and vehicles, while citizens expressed growing concern over rising health problems linked to air pollution.
