Lahore lit up with excitement as actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan launched the first song of their upcoming film Neelofar during an exclusive event held at the historic Sir Ganga Ram House in Gulberg on a cool autumn evening. The launch brought together top stars, musicians, designers, and media personalities, turning the night into a celebration of film, music, and art.
Hosted by Yasir Hussain, the event featured warm conversations, elegant ambience, and the first look at the film’s musical journey. The highlight of the night was the unveiling of the film’s first song, sung by Vicky Haider, which left the audience emotional and eager for the film’s release.
Prominent personalities such as Seemi Raheel, Zeb Bangash, Nameer Khan, HAVI, Mooroo, and other respected artists and social figures attended, adding glamour and prestige to the gathering. The song, described as lyrical and soulful, beautifully reflects the poetic essence of Neelofar a love story where emotions speak louder than words.
In the film, Fawad Khan plays a writer, while Mahira Khan portrays Neelofar, a visually impaired yet spiritually radiant woman. The film has already been praised for its heartfelt story and is being called one of the most touching romantic films to come from Pakistani cinema.
Speaking at the event, Fawad Khan said, “Neelofar is a story that lives in emotions, and this song is its heartbeat.” Mahira Khan added, “This film is deeply personal to me. Tonight’s response reminded us why we made Neelofar it’s about pure, soulful love.”
Neelofar is produced by Fawad Khan, Hassaan Khalid, and Usaf Shariq, and written and directed by Ammar Rasool. The film is scheduled for a nationwide release on November 28, 2025.
