Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has called for Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers to be performed across the Kingdom on Thursday, November 13, due to a lack of rainfall.
According to the Saudi Gazette, a statement issued by the Royal Court said that King Salman urged all citizens to repent, seek forgiveness, and turn towards Allah. He also advised showing kindness to employees, engaging in charity, and performing good deeds.
The official Haramain Sharifain X account announced that Sheikh Yasser Al-Dosari will lead the Istisqa prayer and deliver the sermon at Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah.
It is noteworthy that similar prayers were also held in mosques across the United Arab Emirates on October 17.
