Country singer Lainey Wilson took home the Entertainer of the Year award at the 2025 CMA Awards in Nashville, adding to her accolades for Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Wilson outshined fellow nominees, including Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen. In her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to her team, family, and fans, highlighting her dedication to country music.
This win also makes Wilson the third woman to secure the Entertainer of the Year title twice, joining the ranks of music legends like Taylor Swift and Barbara Mandrell.
The ceremony, held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, featured other notable winners: Ella Langley and Riley Green took home Song and Single of the Year, while Vince Gill was honoured with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
Wilson’s achievement underscores her growing influence in country music and reflects a trend of recognising artists for live performance, cultural impact, and leadership in the genre.
