For the first time in history, the Pakistan women’s football team has been added to the FIFA Series, after receiving official approval from FIFA.

According to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Pakistan’s inclusion in the FIFA Series is a recognition of the rapid progress of women’s football in the country. The PFF stated that this marks the beginning of a new chapter for the national women’s team, as the series will provide players with valuable exposure to international-level competition.

The FIFA Series will take place in March and April 2026, with the initial phase being hosted by Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Thailand. The complete lineup of groups for the women’s FIFA Series is expected to be announced in early 2026.
