Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal has said that health is a fundamental factor in the development or destruction of any country, and if a nation is not kept healthy, the future of the country comes under threat.

‎Addressing a joint meeting of the Inter Ministerial Health and Population and UHC Country Platform, the Federal Minister for Health said that the health sector holds great importance in any society, and a strong health system plays a vital role in shaping society.

‎He said that health is a basic factor in the development or destruction of any country, individual well being is linked to national survival, and if the nation is not kept healthy, the country’s future is put at risk. He said that nature set an example by putting all countries through the coronavirus pandemic, during which even developing countries’ health systems were severely affected, and during the coronavirus outbreak the health systems of developed countries also collapsed.

‎Mustafa Kamal further said that the global health system is still going through the recovery process after coronavirus, healthy individuals form a healthy society, and a strong healthcare system prevents people from falling ill.
