At least three people, including the groom, were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on a wedding bus in Shikarpur.

According to police, the incident occurred on the National Highway bypass where a bus carrying a wedding procession came under gunfire. As a result, the groom, his brother, and the bus driver lost their lives on the spot, while a woman sustained injuries.

Police officials stated that the wedding party was traveling from Shikarpur to Jacobabad when the attack took place. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident was the result of an old enmity. Law enforcement agencies have launched an operation to arrest those responsible.
