In the first four weeks of 2026, 1,695 suspected measles cases have been reported in Punjab.
According to details, the number of laboratory confirmed measles cases has reached 330. The report states that 40 measles outbreak alerts have been issued across the province.
The Director General Health Services Punjab has submitted a detailed report on measles to the Lahore High Court. In 2024, a total of 23,680 suspected measles cases were reported in Punjab.
