Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla appears set for a digital release on Netflix, but as of now, there is no officially announced OTT premiere date from the makers. Several recent entertainment reports point to Netflix as the streaming partner, with one saying the platform was identified in the film’s theatrical opening credits, while others still describe the exact streaming date as unconfirmed.
The film released in theatres on 17 April 2026, and most of the current reporting treats its OTT arrival as a matter of timing rather than destination. The date itself remains speculative. A number of outlets estimate a 45-to-60 day theatrical window, which would place the film’s likely streaming debut somewhere between late May and early July 2026, depending on how long it continues to perform in cinemas.
That ongoing box-office run matters. Recent coverage says Bhooth Bangla has continued strongly into its second week, crossing major collection milestones, which could push the digital launch later rather than sooner if the theatrical performance holds up. In other words, the film may be in no rush to leave cinemas just yet.
