National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has officially opened applications for a new blended international IT training program aimed at equipping Pakistani students and professionals with globally competitive digital skills.

According to the announcement, the program has been launched under NAVTTC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s technology workforce and prepare young people for international employment opportunities in the rapidly growing IT sector. The initiative will combine online learning with physical training sessions, giving participants access to modern technical education through a blended learning model.

Officials say the training program is designed to help students develop high-demand digital skills that are increasingly required in both local and global job markets. Courses are expected to focus on emerging technology fields, professional certifications, and practical industry-based learning to improve employability and freelancing potential for Pakistani youth.

The commission stated that the initiative is part of broader national efforts to expand Pakistan’s digital economy and increase youth participation in international technology markets. Through partnerships and international-standard training modules, participants will reportedly gain exposure to globally recognized IT practices and tools.

Eligible candidates from across Pakistan have been encouraged to apply through the official NAVTTC portal within the announced deadline. Authorities say merit-based selection will be conducted, while successful applicants may receive subsidized or fully funded training opportunities depending on the category and program structure.

Education and technology experts have welcomed the initiative, saying Pakistan’s growing youth population needs advanced technical training to compete internationally in fields such as software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, networking, and digital freelancing.

The announcement comes at a time when Pakistan is increasingly focusing on IT exports, remote employment, and digital entrepreneurship as key drivers of economic growth. Government officials have repeatedly emphasized that improving technical education and vocational training remains essential for creating skilled manpower and reducing unemployment among young graduates.

Students and professionals interested in joining the program are advised to review eligibility criteria, training tracks, and registration details through NAVTTC’s official channels before submitting applications.
