Over 13,000 Patients Brought to Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar During Eid-ul-Adha

More than 13,500 patients were brought to Khyber Teaching Hospital during the three days of Eid-ul-Adha.

‎According to the hospital administration, 5,300 patients were shifted to the hospital due to stomach disorders, indigestion, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea.

‎The administration stated that a significant increase in gastrointestinal illnesses was recorded due to the consumption of sacrificial meat and fatty foods.

‎According to the hospital administration, nearly 900 other patients were also brought to the hospital during Eid, while more than 300 people were admitted after being injured in traffic accidents.

‎In addition, medical assistance was provided to 250 individuals who were injured due to sacrificial animals or knife-related incidents.
