The Bangladesh national cricket team is scheduled to tour Pakistan from May 25 to June 3, where they are set to play five T20 matches. However, the tour remains under review due to security concerns.
According to sources, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has sought clearance from its government and intelligence agencies. Pakistani authorities have assured tight security, especially for the matches planned in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
While players like Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das have expressed readiness to participate, the final decision will depend on the comprehensive security audit report.
This tour, if confirmed, would be the first bilateral series between the two countries in over three years.
