The Punjab government has expanded the scope of healthcare services beyond provincial boundaries and sent 6 Clinic on Wheels vehicles to Gilgit Baltistan as a gift.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir dispatched 6 Clinic on Wheels vehicles equipped with essential medicines for Gilgit Baltistan.
On the occasion, Khawaja Imran Nazir said that public health facilities are now reaching beyond Punjab’s borders to other regions as well, which will provide better healthcare services to citizens in remote areas.
He said that Maryam Nawaz is a leader of the people of Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and the entire Pakistan.
According to Khawaja Imran Nazir, demands were being received from across the country that the facility of Clinic on Wheels should also be extended to other provinces and regions.
He said that respecting public demands, the Punjab government has decided to expand the scope of healthcare services so that more people can be provided basic medical facilities at their doorstep.
