A batch of the antibiotic medicine “Azomex” has been declared counterfeit.
According to an analysis conducted by the Drug Testing Laboratory, a batch of Azomex 500mg was found to be counterfeit, following which the Health Department issued an alert.
The pharmaceutical company has been directed to immediately recall the stock of the identified batch from the market, while all field drug inspectors have also been instructed to stop the sale of the counterfeit batch of Azomex.
