Karachi: Governor Sindh Attends 9th Convocation of Habib University as Chief Guest

 Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi attended the 9th Convocation ceremony of Habib University as the chief guest, where he distributed degrees among graduating students.

He congratulated the successful graduates, their parents, and teachers on their achievements.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that an educated, prosperous, and tolerant society is the true foundation of development. He stressed that there is no room for discrimination on the basis of language, sect, or any other identity in society.

He described the youth as the most valuable asset of Pakistan and urged them to utilize their skills and abilities for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Highlighting global trends, he said the world is rapidly moving towards innovation, research, and technology, and advised young graduates to focus on acquiring modern skills.

Governor Sindh also stated that, InshaAllah, Pakistan will complete 100 years of independence in 2047, and said the country came into existence after a great struggle and immense sacrifices.

He further noted that the national leadership and armed forces are playing an important role in ensuring peace, stability, and defense of the country.

He added that alongside strengthening defense capabilities, Pakistan must collectively focus on economic stability and development.

The Governor urged the graduating students to contribute to national progress and help lead Pakistan towards new heights of prosperity through education, character building, and professional excellence.
