The Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) has made medical history in Pakistan by successfully performing the country’s first semi active robotic neuro spine surgery.

‎The historic robotic neuro spine surgery was successfully carried out by Dr. Pir Asad Aziz, Head of Robotic Neuro Spine Surgery, and his expert team. Robotic technology enhances surgical precision, reduces blood loss, minimizes pain and complications, and helps patients recover more quickly.

‎The use of advanced robotic technology at the institute is not only making complex neuro spine surgeries possible but is also enabling the provision of safer, more effective, and higher quality treatment for patients.

‎On this historic achievement, tribute has been paid to the leadership, patronage, and continued investment in the health sector by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.

‎Due to their efforts, the people of Sindh now have access to the most advanced medical facilities within their own province, facilities that were previously limited to only a few developed countries.

‎Under the effective leadership and visionary strategy of Dr. Rahim Bux Bhatti, Director of the institute, the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences continues to achieve new medical milestones.

‎This remarkable success is a clear example of the Sindh Government’s people friendly vision, its commitment to promoting modern healthcare facilities, and its determination to provide world class health services.
