Karachi: Pakistani film stars Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed are currently on an international promotional tour for their upcoming comedy film “Love Guru,” which is set for release on Eid-ul-Adha. The duo’s appearances in various U.S. cities have gone viral on social media, with fans sharing clips of their energetic promotional events.
The actors have visited Houston, Dallas, and New York, engaging with fans and performing dance routines from the film’s soundtrack. The campaign is expected to continue in London in the coming days.“Love Guru” marks the return of both Mahira and Humayun to the silver screen after nearly three years. The trailer teases a romantic comedy where Humayun plays a flirtatious character who unexpectedly falls in love. Mahira appears as a confident, artistic woman, while veteran actor Javed Sheikh portrays her father.
The film was shot in London and is written by Vasay Chaudhry, directed by Nadeem Baig, and produced by Humayun Saeed along with other collaborators.
The film’s viral promotions have heightened anticipation ahead of its Eid release, both locally and among the Pakistani diaspora abroad.
