TRINIDAD: Pakistan secured a commanding eight-wicket victory over the West Indies on the fourth day of the second and final Test at Queen’s Park Oval, successfully leveling the two-match series.
Having suffered a 90-run defeat in the opening Test the previous week, the visitors bounced back decisively. The home side resumed their second innings in deep trouble overnight at 103 for six and were bundled out for just 117 within the first half-hour of the morning session.
Left with a modest target of only 75 runs to chase, Pakistan comfortably crossed the finish line to claim the victory and share the series honors
