The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued roll number slips for candidates appearing in the upcoming Law Admission Test (LAT) 2026, scheduled to take place on September 6, 2026. Registered candidates can now download their slips through the Education Testing Council (ETC) portal.

Candidates who successfully registered for the September LAT can log in to their ETC accounts and access their applications to download the roll number slip. They are advised to print the slip and keep it safe for presentation on the day of the examination.

The roll number slip contains important information including the candidate’s name, test centre, reporting time and examination instructions. Candidates should carefully check all details and contact HEC through the official ETC system if they find any discrepancy.

The LAT is required for students seeking admission to undergraduate law programmes in institutions recognised by HEC and the Pakistan Bar Council. The test assesses candidates through multiple-choice questions along with components such as an essay and personal statement.

HEC has advised candidates to arrive at their designated test centres according to the reporting time mentioned on their roll number slips. Students should also bring the required original identification documents on test day.

The September 6 LAT is part of HEC’s 2026 testing schedule. Candidates who miss this examination will have another opportunity later in the year, as HEC has scheduled a final LAT for November 15, 2026.
