KARACHI: Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) which is a part of International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi will host a two-day hybrid workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health Sciences that will begin Wednesday.
“Bridging technology with health for better patient outcomes.”
The chief guest in the event was Rehan Iqbal Baloch, the Sindh provincial Health Secretary who made the inaugural speech.
Co-organized by the Center of Artificial Intelligence in Health Sciences at PCMD, OIC COMSTECH and Sindh Innovation, Research and Education Network (SIREN), the workshop will allow the office to provide information and knowledge that will assure the office in catering to the needs of the people.
It involves speeches of renowned senior scholars and industry representatives devoted to the theme of AI integration into health sciences.
Conferencing panels are also being conducted on how AI will be employed to analyze, interpret medical data in the pursuit of better medical diagnoses or treatments, as well as disease prevention.
A spokesperson of ICCBS has pointed out the significance of the event with respect to bridging the health care solutions to provide better patient outcomes with the technological advancements.
