Actress Alizeh Shah has addressed rumours about her resemblance to Naziba Zainab, the actress playing Sidra in Hum TV’s popular drama Jama Taqseem.
Social media users recently claimed that Naziba Zainab, who portrays a young woman facing harassment from her cousin in the drama, looks strikingly similar to Alizeh — with some even suggesting she might be her younger sister.
Responding to these claims on Instagram, Alizeh Shah clarified that she has no sister and humorously added that her family “could only handle one Alizeh.”
The actress also expressed disappointment over how emerging talents are frequently compared to established stars, saying it prevents newcomers from building their own identity.
Reflecting on her early career, Alizeh shared that she too faced comparisons when she entered the industry, which initially made her feel disheartened as she was eager to be recognized for her individuality.
