Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper, 31, was found dead inside a suitcase buried deep in a forest in Slovenia, days after she mysteriously went missing. Her ex-boyfriend has confessed to killing her and disposing of the body.
Pieper was last seen on November 23 after returning home from a holiday gathering. Before disappearing, she messaged friends that she had reached home safely but felt someone was lurking near her apartment stairwell. When she failed to attend a scheduled photoshoot and repeatedly remained unreachable, her family reported her missing.
The investigation gained momentum when authorities discovered a burnt vehicle belonging to her ex-boyfriend near the Austria-Slovenia border. After being taken into custody, he admitted to strangling Pieper, placing her body inside a suitcase, transporting it across the border, and hiding it in a forest. He later guided investigators to the exact spot where the suitcase was buried.
Two male relatives of the accused have also been detained on suspicion of helping conceal the crime. Officials are still determining the motive behind the killing.
Stefanie Pieper, known for her beauty, fashion and lifestyle content, had a strong presence on social media. Her tragic death has shocked followers and reignited concerns about violence against women and the safety challenges faced by public figures.
