The inauguration of Bab-ul-Jannat Park and a newly built skate rink in Federal B Area Block 5 turned into a public gathering on Sunday, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for improved recreational facilities. Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Munam Zafar Khan formally opened the park, marking a new addition to the area’s public spaces.

Local residents, party workers, and families gathered at the venue to witness the ceremony, expressing hope that the park would provide a healthy and safe environment for children, youth, and senior citizens. The inclusion of a skate rink was especially welcomed by young people, who see it as a modern and positive recreational outlet.

Speaking on the occasion, Munam Zafar Khan highlighted the importance of clean, accessible, and well-maintained parks for urban life. He said such facilities not only promote physical activity but also strengthen social bonds by offering families a place to relax and spend quality time together.

The park features green lawns, walking paths, seating areas, and the skate rink, aimed at encouraging an active lifestyle in the neighborhood. Residents appreciated the initiative and urged authorities to ensure regular maintenance so the park remains beneficial for the community in the long term.

The opening of Bab-ul-Jannat Park is being seen as a step toward improving the quality of life in Federal B Area, giving locals a much-needed recreational space in the heart of the locality.
