The former Pakistan skipper, who arrived in Sydney this week to commence his BBL stint, will sport the number 056, a creative twist on his usual 56.
The franchise shared the announcement on their social media platforms, posting images of Babar at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) showcasing his new look. The decision to tweak the number came due to Mitchell Starc, a Sixers stalwart, retaining the traditional 56 jersey.
